DUSTIN YELLIN
DUSTIN YELLIN, born in California in 1975 and raised in Colorado, is a visual artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. In the past year, Yellin’s seminal Psychogeographies, have been commissioned for public exhibition at Kennedy Center in Washington DC and Lincoln Center in New York City for the New York City Ballet Art Series. A series of these sculptures were also installed permanently in Los Angeles on Sunset Boulevard.
In 2010, Yellin founded Pioneer Works, a social sculpture and non-profit institute for art and innovation in Red Hook. Through a broad range of educational programs, exhibitions, performances and arts and science residencies, Pioneer Works seeks to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries, foster community, and provide a space where alternative modes of thought are supported and activated in tangible ways.

Brave and playful, Model M. is a one-piece moulded handbag fabricated from Fashion-Flex with a soft luster. Chiseled to reveal every detail down to the top-stitching, Model M. has an integrated 10-inch drop handle and tab closure, which both compliment her easy-to-wear shape.
